This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of fertilization application techniques and fertilization intervals on the growth of ornamental caladium (Caladium sp.). The research was conducted using a factorial randomized block design consisting of two factors, namely fertilization application techniques and fertilization intervals. The fertilization application techniques included spraying, drenching, and broadcasting, while the fertilization intervals consisted of once a week, once every two weeks, and once every three weeks. Observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, and root length. The results showed that fertilization application techniques significantly affected plant height, number of leaves, and leaf area, with the best treatment being the drenching technique. Fertilization intervals had a significant effect on the number of leaves, with the best result obtained from fertilization applied once a week. There was a significant interaction between fertilization application techniques and fertilization intervals on the number of leaves, with the best combination being drenching application and weekly fertilization. Therefore, the drenching fertilization technique combined with a one-week interval is recommended to enhance the growth of ornamental caladium plants.
