Ageratum conyzoides is a weed that can be used as a bioherbicide because it contains polyphenols, flavonoids, tannins, and terpenes. The study was conducted at the Krajan training farm, specifically in an area planted with oil palm trees in the pre-productive phase (TBM), using a randomized block design with treatments consisting of natural surfactants derived from Daun Waru (Hibiscus tiliaceus) weighing 25 g and 50 g, dissolved in 500 ml of water, and Ageratum conyzoides liquid extract at concentrations of 3%, 5%, and 7%. The results showed that the combination of 5% A. conyzoides and 50 g of Daun Waru leaves dissolved in 500 ml of water produced a significant difference and enhanced the efficacy of allelochemical/allelopathic absorption as a bioherbicide, as evidenced by the presence of toxicity symptoms and weed mortality that continued to increase up to 30 days after application (HSA). The aim of this study was to develop the best environmentally friendly post-emergence bioherbicide formulation.
