Jurnal Pertanian Agros, AGROS is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Agriculture, Janabadra University along with the Indonesia Agribusiness Association (AAI). AGROS is a national-level journal with registration numbers ISSN 1411-0172 (print) and ISSN 2528-1488 (online) with open access.

According to the Decree of the Director General of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Number 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025), AGROS has been designated an Accredited Scientific Journal. It has been awarded the "Sinta 5" category, effective from Volume 26 Number 1 of 2024 through Volume 30 Number 2 of 2028.

AGROS accommodates and publishes selected manuscripts of original author ideas focusing on the sectors of agricultural socio-economics, agribusiness, agronomy, plant pests and diseases, animal husbandry, fisheries, forestry, food technology and nutrition, agricultural mechanization, and other sciences related to agriculture. These original ideas can be research results, theoretical studies, methodological reviews, seminar reviews, book reviews, and reviews of current agricultural development issues in general. We welcome manuscript submissions from both domestic and international authors.

The AGROS Editorial Board comprises leading, active researchers in agriculture, ensuring an efficient, fair, and constructive review process. All accepted articles will be published upon payment of an article processing charge. However, these publications will be freely accessible to readers worldwide.

Since 2022, AGROS has been published quarterly-in January, April, July, and October-increasing from its previous triannual schedule. This change aims to better serve the needs of academics and researchers. Agros exclusively accepts original manuscripts that have not been published elsewhere and are not currently under consideration by other journals. Authors must adhere to the journal's specific writing guidelines when submitting their work.

 

This journal has been ACCREDITED by the National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA), Managed by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic Indonesia, with  Fifth Grade (Peringkat 5, Sinta 5).
